The Woods Family of Clover Valley, Nevada 1869-1979

Description

Hardcover.  11 inches x 9 inches.  150 pages.  Binding is sound and tight.  All pages secure.  Uniform age discoloration of the pages.  There are a few indentations on the front cover and a couple of rubbed corners.
Compiled by Orilla Woods Hafen, Mary R. Edwards, Elbert B. Edwards.  Published by Woods Family Genealogical Committee Boulder City, Nevada 1979.
History and genealogical study of the family of Lyman L. and Maribah Ann Bird Woods, part of the Mormon migration into Southern Utah and present Southern Nevada.
They are described as being “Among the very few originally called to serve on the Muddy Mission, and who were to remain and wrest a home from the unfriendly environment in Southeast Nevada . . . .”
With the book, I include a couple of items between the pages when I acquired the volume.
A memorial card dated May 26, 1981 for the services of Fayette Francis Kunz who passed away in Saddleback, CA on 21May, 1981.
The other item is a photograph of a group of gentlemen gathered on steps and dated Apr 1978.
There is no other identifying information.
