Collection of items related to the Philbrick family, appears to center on a Clay Philbrick and a W.W, Philbrick and family including a sister Nellie, the owner of the Philbrick Cutter Head Company in Seattle. There are a handful of photographs/film camera negatives, some letters, a few documents, a drawing, newspaper clippings, a Halbert's Family Heritage World Book and a few other items. I'll just go over the items:
--- The photos and an envelope of camera negatives: Cabinet photo of Clay Philbrick, a CDV by the photographer T. Naughton Champaign Illinois (subject in photo not identified), small photo showing a group of apparent family members standing back to back with red ink noting of names at the top, a photo negative envelope from Seattle with the name CH Philbrick on the outside and containing 4 camera negatives and a small snapshot tucked into the Halbert's Family Heritage book noting a Frances Philbrick on the reverse.
--- Some newspaper clippings: the large clipping shows a new seattle Yacht called the Kiyi built at the Shertzer Brothers plant on Lake Union and designed by Naval architect L.H. Coolidge (designed as a "miniature ocean liner) and showing Mrs. Clay Philbrick the sponsor. A few other clippings including an obit and a clipping about the 5,000 estate left by Clay Philbrick and noting the disbursement of funds. A few other clippings.
--- Handful of letters, most are to Clay's sister Nellie/Nell on Orcas Island in the San Juan's. I did note an empty envelope but the letter may be possibly present.
--- There is a drawing that looks like a US Army GI, it is signed Rodolfo Herrera 1945, there is nothing on the back and it is not clear what is the relation to the family.
--- 1 Sheet document, one sides, with a date of 1923 showing the Statement of Income and Disbursements of the estate of W.W. Philbrick.
--- Single sheet letter on Philbrick Cutter Head Co letterhead from Clay to sister Nellie.
--- Pacific Telegram Bell System dated 1931 or 1934 that apparently is to Nellie from Daddy and Grandpa sending condolences regarding the death of Betty (name noted on outside of one of the letter envelopes)
--- Program of the First Concert of the Mendelssohn Quartettes Club 1903 (membership shows Nellie's name).
--- Large near card stock sheet (looks like there used to be a photo mounted on the back) letter from W.W. Philbrick sent to his daughter Nellie, sounds like it had contained items from the family history etc.
--- A Washington State Art Association Life Membership document for W.W. Philbrick dated 1912 (this has a curled edge with browning, it was stored with the above note on the card stock).
--- Halbert's Family Heritage book (I've seen these before and they have a lot of generic information on genealogy and history not family specific, but does include some family name specific history).
