The Colonial Records series consists of basic documents of NC's colonial history and is one of the best sources a researcher will find on early NC.  It includes much material not printed in the earlier series of The Colonial Records edited by William L. Saunders and published 1886-1890.  This volume consists almost entirely of minutes of proceedings of the three higher couts of NC.  The General Court, Court of Chancery, and Court of Vice Admiralty.  The years covered are 1724-1730..  Hard cover, dust jacket, wonderful introduction, 791 pages including index.
