    Description

    This is a porcelain doll with a soft body that was designed by famous doll artist Cynthia K. James. She is 21" tall and  her name is Elise. Her name and the name of her maker is incised into the back of her neck. Ms. James is known for her character, but this one is a trip to the past. She has the stationary glass eyes and inset eyelashes that Ms. James always uses, but this face is just beautiful, not a character study at all. Beautiful face paint and features. Her hair is a medium brown and very curly. Her dress is as romantic as Wuthering Heights, and takes you back to a time long gone. She is barefoot, most likely a country girl. Beautifully made, Ms. James' dolls sell upwards of 0.00. I have no idea of the original price on this one.
