How does RFID / NFC work and how does the NFC shield card protect
The electromagnetic field of a reader generates electricity in RFID cards by induction. This energy enables the cards to send their data to the reader and exchange information. The NFC shield absorbs high frequency and low frequency electromagnetic radio waves, so the RFID / NFC card gets no power and can not send data. Your data is reliably protected against theft in the wallet without having to deactivate the useful NFC function.
